CSI: TEHRAN was a performance art piece that “dramatized” Islamic Republic’s response to charges of election fraud.
After massive protests against Ahmadinejad’s blatant power grab, the regime decided to have a sham investigation into these charges, only to declare the results as legitimate and ultimately getting the “supreme leader’s” stamp of approval which in turn was a green light to all out crack down on any opposition! This in turn, set in motion a wave of killings, executions, and arrests which continue to this day.
CSI: TEHRAN is the special task force assigned to investigate the claims which was summed up in the phrase ” Where is my VOTE?”
On June 12, 2010, between the hours of 5 & 7 PM, CSI: TEHRAN presented it’s findings to the public at Wilshire & Veteran, Los Angeles during a mass demonstration in front of the Federal Building.
